An extremely bittersweet day came for our family on September 6th, 2011. It was the last day that our youngest Daniel was going to be in the day to day care of Carol. Our relationship with Carol and her family began some 6 and a half years ago when our oldest son Jack was 4 months old. Without hesitation, we can say that our children would not be the young boys they are today without the guidance, care and love they have received from Carol and her family. To get back in your car every morning and have 100% confidence that your children are being properly cared for is an extremely comforting feeling. It is easy to make a statement to that effect because Carol treats all the children she cares for as if they are her own. As the business end of our relationship has come to a close for the most part, it is very warming to know that our personal relationship which has become closer and closer over the years will continue

Our son, Francesco, has been with Carol since he was six months old. Every morning, Francesco is eager to go to Carol’s house and frequently does not want to leave! In addition to social skills and manners, adorable crafts, music, stimulating learning activities, and free play are incorporated into the daily routine. Under Carol’s care, Francesco is always happy, clean and fed quality meals. The entire Walker family displays love and affection for the children. We feel truly blessed to have a loving, patient, and reliable babysitter dedicated to the well being of our son.

I began using Carol as my babysitter over 5 years ago, when my son was 10 weeks old and from the first day I dropped him off to her to then having another baby 2 ½ years later never once did I ever worry about them. Carol and her family are some of the most wonderful people that you will ever meet. Not only did she watch my children every day in her home but also took them into her heart. She treated them as if they were her own – not just children she “babysat”. Carol, Jim, Thomas and Lauren are the nicest, warmest family you will ever meet, and any child would be happy and safe in their home. Our son started going to Carol in September 2010. Three weeks prior to starting with Carol, he had started daycare at a large center when I returned to work after an extended maternity leave. After being home with me for 7 months, he was on an established routine and was used to having lots of "one on one time".

I quickly realized that a "center" was just not for us! Our " happy" baby was coming home cranky and exhausted from not being able to take his naps, and he was craving some attention from Mommy and Daddy. My husband and I quickly made the decision to seek alternate child care options, and that's when we found Carol! She made us feel right at ease, and we soon realized that SHE was exactly what our son needed. In no time at all, he was back in his routine, receiving lots of love and attention, and our "happy" baby was back!

Carol is so loving and nurturing, and her home is warm and inviting; we feel 100% confident that our son will be loved and well cared for and each day while we are at work. Carol's home truly is our son's "home away from home"!
